Yes. You have to be a registered MBT Internet Banking user to register for MBT 24 Hour Bill Pay.

What account can I use to pay my bills?

You can use any registered Martinsburg Bank and Trust personal account with unlimited check-writing privileges.

How much does it cost?

MBT 24 Hour Bill Pay is FREE with unlimited usage to customers with Our Best Account. Regular Checking, Free Checking, Super NOW Checking, and Student Checking accountholders will receive 10 FREE bill payments each billing cycle. There is a $1.00 fee per bill after 10 paid bills.

What is a billing cycle?

A billing cycle begins on the first day of each month and runs through the last day of each month. The billing cycle date may not be the same date as your checking account statement cycle.

Any fee you might incur will be charged to your checking account between the second and fifth day of each month.

Who can I pay?

MBT 24 Hour Bill Pay allows you to pay almost anyone in the continental United States. The person or business you pay is identified as a "payee."

How is my payment sent to the payee?

Payments are sent either by electronic transfer or by a check issued by our bill payment provider CheckFree.

When are funds deducted from my account?

Money is taken from your account, for each bill, on the day that you authorize the bill to be paid. That way it stays in your account as long as possible.

How do I enroll?

Log in to Internet Banking and select Payment Manager. Then click on View and Pay Bills and simply follow the online instructions.
