Martinsburg Bank and Trust is a locally owned, independent bank serving rural communities in mid-Missouri.  We have seven facilities located in Mexico, Centralia, Martinsburg, Wellsville, Montgomery City, Hallsville, and Vandalia.
     The bank has provided over 110 years of exceptional service to the residents of Audrain, Montgomery, and Boone counties.  The bank originated in 1893 in Martinsburg, MO when $10,000 in capital was subscribed by a group of farmers and professional men from Martinsburg, Wellsville, and Mexico.  Some of the same families are among the stockholders today.
     In 1988, the bank expanded to Mexico.  New locations were established in Wellsville (1991), Montgomery City (1997), Centralia (1999), and Hallsville (2003), and in 2006, MBT established an affiliation with Hillebrand Insurance Agency in Vandalia.  Their facility now houses our latest MBT branch as well as the insurance agency.
    We offer the same products and services that are offered by the larger bank corporations, while maintaining small town friendliness and quality customer service.  In addition to the traditional bank products, we have a certified financial planner on our staff and have a trust and investment department available.  We understand the changing needs of our customers and continually strive to meet those needs.
